Routine

12 juli 2017 - Sliema, Malta

Wednesday, 12th of july.

Todsy was my 3rd day on the job and my 5th day in malta. I can now say that i have gotten used to the urban life in Malta.

This time, i slept well last night. I woke up, took a shower, went downstairs and got some breakfast (whitout white bread, because of my new tradition) emptied several glasses of milk and orange juice and went to the bus. The bus was 30 minutes too late and even lost his whereabouts halfway through the route (which is quite impressive to do because he only had to stay on one road). And i worked from 09:00-17:00, lots of smalltalk with the visitors and chats with the other employees, today i yet again met 3 new slovakian girls and 2 polish girls. Eventually i got home again at 18:00.
All in all, an average day in Malta. I expect there to many more just like these.

I thought if joining a few others in a football game this evening, but when i agreed to join, 2 hours before it was supposed to start, the teams were apparently already full, guess it's my own fault for registering so late. Oh well, time to think of something else to do... It was 20:00
So, just like last weekend, i grabbed some of my belongings, like a map and a phone, i activated a playlist on spotify and walked out of the door.instead of turning right like last saturday, i went to the left, i'll see where i'll end up...

First i reached balluta bay again, but this time i continued walking north, after 4 more km i reached the district called paceville, which is the like the Mekka for clubs in europe. I'll definitely check it out later, when i have more time. But i've already fotten quite the impression. (I've heard lots about it as well, because the 2 french guys, Simon and Romain, can be found in paceville almost every night.) I continued my journey and came across a very luxurious harbor, full of yachts, surrounded by chique hotels and restauramts it was beautiful. But eventually i've had enough of it, and thought of going back to my appartement, it was 22:15 and realised that i still had to walk all the way back, ofcourse i choose to run back along the scenic promenade. In hindsight, i am not sure if i should've done that, because i am sweating bullets right now... But nonetheless, i am thinking of doing this more often, to slice up my schedule.

I didn't have a lot of time today to work on my blog, because we also habe a new roommate, named Stanislas... a french boy, aged 14 (looks a lot older)

I should probably head to bed right now,

Have a good one.
